Freshman...sophomore and Junior classrooms on the secon floor along with three private superior rooms (right middle) and the infirmary (left)
Jerry - the infirmary became a language lab after we left. The infirmary was moved to the mansion, so the guys could be sick and scared at the same time. (The mansion was VERY haunted.)
Student: 62-66
I love this shot..
Mac..... You say the mansion was very haunted... do you have any interesting stories?
Interesting stories!?? I see faces in the reflection
of the door down the hall RIGHT NOW!!!
It is not so creepy like hospitals, but is enough good.
Another fantastic hallway shot.
Oh my God, I can see the faces too!! Very creepy!1
Motts, were there any other people in the biulding when you took this shot?
No I was alone that day.
Motts, can you see the faces? I enlarged it on my pc and I can definitely see two.
No faces, just glass broken by vandals.
I remember going back to my old grade school before they tore it down and EVERYTHING LOOKED SO SMALL!!! wHEN YOU'RE LITTLE, EVERYTHING LOOKS SO GIGANTIC!
I went to SJS in '84. Interesting story re: this shot. The room/suite seen in this photo in themiddle of the hall on the right was where the Director (a priest) slept. When you entered from the hallway, there was a little "living room" area, for want of a better term, where he had a lounge chair & TV, a few bookcases & such, and beyond that was his bedroom. Anyway, he told me that one night he was reading late at night w/ the door to the hallway open. He saw a black hooded figure pass his doorway, stopping at his door to say "peace," then kept going.
im pretty sure i broke this back in 2000. the school was 5 min away from my house. unfortunalty they made the whole area a park now so u cant explore in there anymore
The mansion predates the school significantly.
My Dad was an electrician and member of the parent's group. He volunteered and I helped him install the flourescent lighting, which replaced three old incandescent hanging fixtures with large bowl-like globes. I hated how it went from dark and warm to bright and cold. It would have broken my Dad's heart if he had lived to see the place decay so...
this is such a sad picture.
:(
looks like a shadow of someone in the doorway if u look at the floor..first door on left
Ah! I love this picture!
Shadooby !
