Classroom Light

These first floor classrooms were very airy due to their height.

Very very nice pic. Guess school's out forever here.
1st floor were the Science class-rooms and band room. In mid-80's Bro. Jim Mara had us all raise small pets (snakes, Guinea Pigs, etc). There was a really old priest named Fr. Moskal (Earth Science) who would pour Mercury (highly toxic) out of a bottle and have us hold it in our hands. To demonstrate a circuit he had us all join hands with one person holding the gas valve on a lab table. He would then stick his own finger in an electrical outlet.
you spelled their wrong

wHaT??!?! LOL!? Could you elaborate on this and any other similar anecdotes a little more? For some reason, (?) I just find this hysterical, erm, I don't know if I am supposed to be laughing at this or not, but I find it amusing.
By 1964 this was the Chem/Physics lab (opposite the pool room) alternating on a 2 year cycle. Dave Goris taught Chem. (64/65) Tony Smalldone taught Physics (65/66).
I remember when John Incorvaia had the Bromine experiment explode. Then we knew why there were safety goggles.
Well it looks abandon ,dosen't mean we can't fix it. We should fix in stead of destroy.
wow amazing, i would'nt be surprised if that was the only bit of light seen to this place in years!
