i like this one, ths picture is off balence and its far away.. which is symbolic for the fact that its abandonded
Doesn't look abandoned from this distance
when you come out for KPPC ( the exit/ entrance right by building 93) there is a bunch of buldings to your left.. i was once told it was an old childrens hospital.. do you know anything about those buildings?
I grew up in Queens, right by Creedmoor pyschiatric hosp. there are a lot of similarities between some of the buildings. it is still used and looking at some of the buildings from the street , they have a very eerie look to them. I am enchanted w/ KPPC and I have no clue why. It is beautiful in such a sad way.
how is secuirty on that buliding?
Aside from the fact it's out in the open and surrounded by a ten-foot chain-link fence, the windows and doors are welded and boarded up. The tunnels are also welded shut.
Good luck.
a beautiful building
the building kinda looks like Waverly. You know the sanatorium in the film death tunnel? it would be cool to stay overnight and see if anything happened or if you actually saw ghosts.
Story after story, room after room of misunderstood people. At one point in time, you could get anyone committed with just a signature. I can almost see the lost and lonely people locked away "for their own good". Tragedy...simply a tragedy...
i cant believe they built all of these enormous beautiful intricate buildings just to keep in "crazy people"
Buildings do not have genders. Stop calling objects 'her' or 'she'.
