Every morning, I had to walk past those doors, knowing there was a good chance a corpse lay behind it. What a way to start the day.

Why is the place all torn apart in the pictures? Is it from vandals/looters, or did the employees leave in a hurry, because it looks like a tornado whipped through...
There is also a documentary, "Christmas in Purgatory" which may have featured Letchworth along with Willowbrook.
