Is that a light behind the curtain?
It's my flashlight 8]
looks like a light... long light... i see the smaller light - center right.. but the larger light on the top looks like its an operating room light... freaky!
Motts, sorry to quesiton you again but.....lol....... are you sure its only your flashlight? It does look like one long light and another smaller one.
Again asylums display their love for that ubiquitous red-orange.
There is one more patient to be removed, but who dares to open the curtain??
this is a sick sick place they mite be back there fucken someone up
PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!! THE GREAT OZ HAS SPOKEN!!!!
REDRUM.
Could be a long exposure shot, in wich case, they both could be the same flashlite at different times.
Wow...this is such a wonderful photo! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cast the curtain makes with you light behind it, Mr. Motts!
it sint a flash light it looks square
Yeah, cause the photographer would definitely not know what it was...
Enough about the dang light(s), what about the darkness on the floor, looks like it is ozzing towards the curtain?
LOL

Got to love shadows, they play with the idle minded
my father was a Rehabilitation counselor at letchworth in the 1970's At that time there were still many highher functioning residents there. My father took me to see renditions of Hello Dolly and Fidddler on the Roof performed by the residents on that very stage.
OHhhhhh wow...great pic...lookes like something you would see in a horror film
....and all the red stuff on the ground looke like blood great job!
I think the flashlight is the top, smaller light and the long light is actually just the flashlight reflectiong off of a metal bar.
Nice shot. What could have happened behind that curtain that you were not supposed to see?
Looks like one of those small, long windows they used to put in institutions to let a little light in. The flashlight has a yellow hue to it, but the other light has a blue tint, like light from the outside. Is that room full of water? What's with the black ooze?
No that's just the shadows from around the curtain.
Looks like the stage of a horrible 70's strip joint. I'm waiting for the curtain to reveal a girl in gold hot pants...
it appears that the shadow is really the edge of some cliff and the curtain hides some secretive safe haven protecting the patient from the abyss that is Letchworth.
Motts, I gotta say, your photos are awesome. Generally how dark is it in here?
I worked there for 3 years. I going to guess and say that was the old revere buidling and the room show is a bathroom. Many patients limbs were so bent that they were put on shower tables for bathing.... the tables were rolled into the bathroom, the curtain was for privacy.
Nice shot, Motts!
Millionz 4 th title plz :D Holy Light behind The Veil
"Again asylums display their love for that ubiquitous red-orange."
