The dreaded "suction" machine, a sick noise and much worse contents.
Holy crap. We still have the same suction regulators at the hospital where I work.
we have a similar suction thingy in the Ambulances i ride on... wierd........
yeah same with my ambualnce...
they do what??
They suck out blood, vomit, saliva, whatever... usually from the mouth but if this is a surgical area, then it can also be used in the body cavity.
soap dispencer
Its the canister used primarily with NG (nasogastric) tubes. For those of you that dont know what those are.... they are tubes about the size of your pinky that go up your nose, run down your throat, through your vocal cords, and in to your stomach. The contents of your stomach are then sucked in to the canister that you see........... yummy..........
wtf is that? ok, now im scared again.
I worked in the Med/Surg unit after working in MU cottage. awful, just awful, try getting a job anywhere after working there, the Letchworth Village employee bad reputation preceeds you , even if you weren't one of the abusive caretakers (or therapy aids as were called.)
Hey loinglostinGeorgia, I worked in Letchworth and was one of those therapy aids and I wasn't abusive!!! And you must have had a bad record from working there if you couldn't find a job after working there. Only bad reputations follow the individual employee not the whole crew!
