Cut

Cut

The second building had the remnants of an old chemistry lab in the basement. The large glass bottles strewn everywhere were interesting, but I was too eager to get upstairs to set up the long, light painted photos in the complete darkness.

The small door at the top of the basement stairs creaked open, and our dusty bodies filled a space which surprisingly clean. So much so that it didn't seem quite right. I snapped a few photos without a tripod in case an alarm went off; here is a stairwell fitted with a protective barrier.

Yeah little bit of a difference - mainly the lack of goat crap!
Wow, love the yellow and blue with the dark shadows, all accented by the safety bars and the great angles. Good one, Toot!
Love the light and angles
MC Escher comes to mind here.
Hard to figure out what is what or where and when or even who and why? I couldn't stop the W's once I got going, sorry.
I love it.
Yeah Voltar ... my thoughts too...and liza too!

My first impression was that I was confused by what I was seeing. My eyes didn't know quite what to focus on.

How odd and artistic this shot is. :)
oooo Motts, great shot! thank you.
Really interesting piece of art! I love the bold shapes with the shine of the tile too, sooo great!
My eyes are so confused right now. :D
This is one of my favorite photos
Are the bars blocking the stairs or keeping people from falling over the railing?
My favourite shot! Abstract and fascinating.
