I've seen stained glass like that in some churches. Very pretty on a sunny day.

What is in the door opening at the back? I can't tell if we are seeing a reflection or looking out of another window? Or maybe it's a doorway that has only been boarded up at the bottom 2/3...

Looks like a transom window of sorts - but without the ability to be opened.
