Le Mosche

Le Mosche

The graffiti translates to "the fly."

I presumed a pathology department was located nearby after seeing the gurney, but unfortunately the passageway was cemented shut so I was restricted to only a few small rooms.

gurneys show up in the oddest places -
This calls for a jackhammer! Spooky room, though.

I'm not sure what's up with the graffiti. but I'd bet this room has lots of flies.
Perhaps we will never know ????
This room looks Creepy at night I bet with no light turn on.
I KNOW I KNOW!!

That is the room where lots of dead bodies were stored, but they all turned to ZOMBIES and had to be cemented in!!

Yeah? Yeah? Whaddya think?
ZOMBIE FLYS
I think it is the most secure closure of a door I have seen in many a picture. Sure closes of the area unless you have tools and lots so time. Only makes me more curious about what is in there........
It's Zombies in theree Claudia, make sure your torch is well lit when opening..
...Oh dear...

Now what have I started...where the heck IS Autoguy? He is our zombie person on here. :D

I am so curious to know what is behind there too now.
Looks like there should be a little blonde girl jumping rope and singing 1, 2, Freddie's coming for you, 3, 4, better lock your door............
It looks like one of those arched alcoves where you'd put a statue. And then what? They poked a hole in it, and they couldn't even put it in the center? And then sealed it up? A MYSKERY! Maybe they walled Jimmy Hoffa up in there?
This does look creepy and lacks color. I wonder why that gurney was left there.
Ya know what JackieB...you have something there...

That is what bothers me most about this picture...the lack of color. It is so pale it SCREAMS death (almost) or ... just ... non-life, if you know what I mean.

Wow. That was a right powerful observation JackieB. :)
I find it interesting that there is a cross below "Le Mosche". It is relatively common belief in some areas that flies are symbols for the devil and are often bad omens.
So you noticed it to Mama, there is no life there, very dingy and dreary
There were many daring and risque experiments in the era this hospital was built and how far the departmental staff went with experimentational events is anyone,s guess for the secrets have long been whispered to the long dead by now and being in the know is what we shall not be ?

Question: What is the first letter of the word "abandoned?"
