Labs keep all kinds of counts most of which deal with the number of tests that are run. Now a days they use numbers to show how the items they buy are used and for reporting to licensing agencies for accreditation. % of accuracy New standard numbers for standard tests. Just a few years ago they changed what is considered a normal blood sugar based on research and lab findings.

That is a big shoe ... I wouldn't want to cross the nurse or person that the shoe belonged to, that is for sure!

Once upon a time, somebody spent time carefully writing in those books, and the notations were important to somebody. Now, they're moldering on the floor, forgotten and unread. Strangely, that shoe looks to be in pretty good shape (I didn't see it at first, either). How did these things come to be forgotten and abandoned on this floor?

Its cool yet creepy to find these kinds of remnants around. They usually have water damage and or mold

LOL the shoe is in pretty good shape...except for the leaves and stuff in it lol. Iiii don't think I will be putting my foot in there any time soon...who KNOWS what is living in there...even a muck monster. YUCK.

just have to say how much i love this photo; i don't know, the light seems so perfect and there's just enough...stuff placed perfectly in the frame, and the hints of color in the leaves...hahaha can you tell i'm not a photographer?
