I wonder what the significance of that red snowflake is?
Reminds me of a ninja star.
Maybe the sign of some ORDER ?????
Pretty. :)

That is a Zombie killing star....

Er...ok maybe not.
strange, some sort of monk sign? Wheres Indiana Jones when we nee him
this is gonna creep you out but i remember once from this weird poem i read along time ago.. Snowflakes gently cover the world in red
and hide what’s unholy from the dead,
showing us how He covers our sin
and gives us His grace when we come to Him.... i think this means death or something ... pretty weird i remember this when i seen this snowflake
It could just be decorative. I prefer to think that the monks were ninja's in training though.
Wow Nick, now that IS creepy...and kinda weird too.

Does that mean it is a Zombie repellant??
lol ya
Ok. I wanted to know so i Goggled it. 6 points is the smallest perfect number, and also a snowflake with 6 points is a symbol of the Star of David
LucieLou, that makes perfect sense! Thanks for looking that up! nick, that is a really creepy but very cool poem. Very Lovecraft-ish. Or maybe Poe.
Maybe that star does signify something but I guess we'll never know
The floor looks really old, perhaps some leftover from the times of the convent?
That floor may be as old as the 17th century. Hand set tiles, probably made specifically for this place.
AHHHH! *smacking forehead* there they are again!
"flakes" - that can be taken inso many ways
