Is that door abnormally short? Or are the windows just really tall? Hard to tell... either way, great photo.
Such a high ceiling and a short door! Maybe it's the camera angle?

I have the feeling this was an exercise room.
The door is very small; I had to crouch through the opening to get to the hallway. The remnants of a full size door can be seen through the plaster.

So the only normal way in was from the outside. Could have been last used as a sterilization room or some other patient-restricted area, where daily supplies were passed through the small opening.
Is that a clothes hanger there?
VERY INTERESTING !!!!!!
OK...now how tall are you Mr. Motts? I bet you any money I wouldn't have to crouch much to get through there lol. I am abnormally SHORT too. :D

I wonder what this room could be. Tiling suggests that it wasn't a "recreation" type of room...more like a utility type of room.
This one really has me puzzled!?? Kind of reminds me of a hydrotherapy room.
How puzzling. They cut the door down to make it that small -- uh, maybe this was the Hobbit ward?
Thats not a bad shade of green on the walls. This room looks more modern than the rest of the place, maybe 40's
Bathroom or water torcher... I mean treatment?
