This wonderful room was just inside the large archway; a door leads out to the street.

An office to the right was in use, and in much better condition.

Gosh it looks like an orphanage from the 1800s or something. It looks so old.
I dig the round mouldings over the doorways, looks like people's portraits should be in there

Reminds me of a scene in the Sound of Music when the nuns had to unlock the gates similar to this one. How interesting!
