Theater

Theater

The remnants of an old movie theater were definitely the highlight of this excursion; even a few front row seats were left.

Mother Nature most of found her way in, Creepy with the chairs in there too. Seems like the ceiling could fall down too
This is now my wallpaper :)
Talk about a dicey floor! Where did the cement go? It seems an odd shape for a movie theater, with that alcove on the left and all those tall windows. Oh wait. The alcove is where they put the refreshment stand, right?
The plants await the next performance.
Wallpaper saved!
The 1st chair is to big, 2nd to small, and the 3rd is just right
I wonder what or whom is sitting in those chairs watching mother nature remodel this place.

It does seem odd that there are windows on the left side, I agree MomPink. Perhaps this was not a movie theater but a live theater. Gosh bobo miller, I just about died laughing!! There is so much colour in this - the deep greens and blues in the foreground, and the yellows, tans, browns and ivories on the walls, and the red chairs.
Wow a lot of deterioration...
Beautiful Decay !!
Nature makes the most beautiful colors!
Love the greenery sprouting out of the floor, whats left of the chairs and small curtain still hanging from the top of the stage.
Too flee or not to flee... that is the question. I like these deteriorating theater shots. Strange that those 3 chairs were left. They probably were ready to fall apart or something...
The lone triplet chairs?/

I think they are waiting for the next performance along with the moss and the plants. :)
Yippee!!
r we for sure this is a theater? come on windows on the side seems dumb. if those chairs wasn't there i would never guess it would be a theater ..stupid confusing chairs.
The epitome of abandonment. GREAT PICTURE!
This area was most likely the central chapel originally; the wall on the right seems like a later addition. With some heavy curtains and a small projector this room could have been a theater for the disabled soldiers staying at the hospital when it was last in use.
aww now that makes more sense , thanks motts

Question: What is the last letter of the word "hospital"?
