Some hideous additions from the latter half of the 20th century could be seen amongst the old grandeur.

Hideous indeed. How COULD they?
This site is great . Please keep up the good work and again thank you.
Well at this stage I suppose it's a little late in the game to worry.
New gallery! So excited! Thanks Motts.
I'm rooting, that the old grandeur. will out last the new stuff
It is really hard to comprehend the aesthetic mindset of someone who would think that this was even a remotely good idea. This is like putting vinyl siding on the White House.
Oh Boy, a new gallery! Thanks Mr. Motts. Good comment A D Nilsen... LOL :)
Wow! A new gallery. Cool. Nothing says tacky like 1970s fake wood paneling. Ugh. But the arches are very nice.
Fake wood over masonary BAH HUMBUG
Yay!! More of your great work!!
wow, thats ugly, it looks like most of the wood was torn out. the wall underneath is ugly too
Cant imagine how the new additions Ever looked better than the original...Very glad they left the door and arch window on the end as they were and didnt try to change them into something hideous too.
Where the heck is Mama to five in Pa ????
Maybe Mama is away on holiday?
Haven't had much time to sit and look at da purrrrty pi'tchers cuz my fam'ly been right busy these days wit' da turkey-eatin' and da mashed taters...

:) NIce to see yall are thinking about me though! I have just been so busy having all 5 kids home and DH started a new job (yay us!) so it has been nuts taking over in the evening solo, if you know what I mean.

Now...on to the pictures...

Wow. Holes in the ceiling and bubbling and peeling paint...yup, she's a "ficer-upper" alright lol!
is it expensive to go to diffrent countries motts? do you ever visit the same place again? just asking oh and good picture
Thanks - yes it's getting more and more expensive to travel; however it's become quite important for me to travel far away from home every so often.

I have visited many places more than once; often there are buildings or scenes that I didn't see the first time around, or, the place has new aura in a different season or weather.
Isn't that wonderful Mr. Motts...to go to a place you have been before and see it in a WHOLE different way?

We have gone to Busch Gardens Williamsburg Va countless times, but each time we go there, I find something that I hadn't seen before or I'd see something a bit differently this time...that is what you feel too right?
Sure I think it can happen at any place you really love.
