Cool loking buildings , too bad the Soviet era decorators have had their way with parts of it.

Yup definitely large enough for a vehicle to drive through - not sure what era that portion of the building was constructed though.

If it was not for the pink dumpster, I would expect a Kubelwagen or a nice BMW with a machine gun side car to come wheeling around the corner, through the arch, and slide to a halt outside the door.

It reminds me of a country scene almost...instead of a pink dumpster I envision flocks of chickens pecking at the ground and cattle lowing in stables nearby as the horses whinny and stomp in their stalls to be ridden. :)
