What an interesting little nook. It makes me wonder who walked there and where they were going, and why. And yep, not only was the floor dicey, but the walls, too. You can really see the building's age here.
What an great angle, it looks like a very cramped space.
I could imagine walking through there when the place was open and just standing in the middle of this nook absorbing the wonderful feel this little nook must offer it's visitors.
Looks like a stairway to another level ??
Maybe a back entrance with a smaller private stairway

That floor doesn't look very good!
I love these pokey little nooks and crannies in these old buildings. I don't even know why they appeal to me so much, but I just feel something in them tug at me somehow. Wonderful.
Just how thick are those walls? The door frame looks huge
