cool lights..
Ballroom?
Obviously the roller rink.
SOAP DISHES!!!

This reminds me of the Round Building of one of the Psych Hospitals I was in--same kind of set-up and windows.

It makes me think of a big wedding hall. :)
cool light fixtures
looks like a scene from dirty dancing
Judging from the parquet floors, I'm going with Ferdy, Ballroom...
YAAAY! New gallery!!
I bet these walls saw more than a few weddings and parties. Love the lights and parquet floor.
The partitions in the background do not appear to be original. It almost looks like the space was divided for some other purpose, like you would do in an office to create work areas.
I can see the bride and groom now gliding across the floor for their first dance.
mamatofive u were in a psych hospital , what for
Lots of things nick. My parents went through a nasty divorce and I just had a lot of emotional problems as a teenager. I am now 40 and have finally found out that part of it is Asperger's Syndrome, which is High-Functioning Autism.

My days locked away are long over now and we have 5 children and a house that keeps me more than busy lol. :)
sorry wasnt trying to be nosey or anything hope i didnt offend you
Nope. I am not ashamed of my past...everyone has one...

This hotel sure does seem to have a past, and an interesting one at that! I would have loved to see this place when it was filled with the hustle and bustle of patrons coming and going, on vacation or on business...

THAT would have been really priceless, but these photos sure do give you a sense of that Other Time, don't they?
Interesting SOAP DISPENSERS hanging from the ceiling...
This must have been grand back in the day..
These modern soap dispensers allow you to choose from a variety of fragrances and formulas. Extremely convenient when dancing with sweaty handed partners. Get yours today by calling . . .
