I'll wait for someone else to figure out what it is.
That's a good question.
A silverware cart perhaps!?...maybe this is were the knifes belong.
(I see dead people...)

Ok...I give up. I have NO idea what this is.
I think LucieLou is right, looks like a silverware cart
That or a cart designed to hold sterno cans for heating food.
I thought it was a small buffet cart, but I think LucieLou is right.
Where did those stairs lead to? (Besides up)
Dang Larry! I was gonna say UP...

You beat me to it. :)

That is like in "Ghostbusters":

"Where do these stairs lead?"
(Pause) "Up..."
The wallpaper behind the vertical pipe looks like a robe or a squashed person in a suit.
Nvusofmotts, LOL, literally! I see the squashed person! Too funny :)
The lone cart picture.
them stairs look really creepy
Why do we keep seeing carts near or on the stairs? Remember the red curtain picture? There was some kind of cart there as well. No elevators I suppose. Did I just answer my own question? Yes, you did Liza. Oh, thanks. Just talking to myself.
