Diorama

Diorama

A strange display frozen in moldy eternity. Two bottles of sparking wine remain - Rotkäppchen (Red Riding Hood) sits on top and empty, while a bottle of Deutz rests unopened below. Decaying ferns and reeds in the background hide a mysterious creature behind the glass backing.

Kinda looks like a skull in the background??
Wow that's cool. I'd have been hard pressed not to just go ahead and open that bottle of fizz. Wonder what's in that box to the left, more booze?
This needs only skeletons to complete it.
That is macabre.
Could you imagine what that booze would taste like (if it were still full)...either REALLLLLY good (old!) or more likely...

Death in a bottle...literally.
This is so interesting! What a display to find. Looks like a snake in there.
I love that this place is so unmolested by taggers and vandals. Little teen ass hats would trash this in a nano-second. Incredible find.
ok, i'm totally freaked out now!
Oh c'mon now, you mean to tell me that some wino hasn't snatched that up by now? Wonders never cease.
LOL @ Larry and asshats...

I started using that term once I started visiting here lol.

I LOVE IT!
I wonder if that is what the Zombies got trashed on and left all that confetti and broken sink in the hallway a few pictures back??
Old fizzy wine, sans fizz. Wine that sits upright without the benefit of a wet cork gets 'corked' or just plain spoiled. It's probably naught but bad vinegar by now.
UNMASK!!!.... UNMASK!!....and the red death held sway over all...

anyone else think of "The Shining"?
Cool !!

With a few added things things this could be turned into something really haunted for halloween.

Yeah, greenskulker...LOL! I absolutely ADORE that movie, AND I have read the book to tatters, literally! I need a new copy because mine has fallen apart from being read so many times over the years. :)
I saw the skull first thing!
what went on in this hotel........
Pop the cork, I'm thirsty....
actually I just saw on a episode of pawnstars that un;less the wine is laid on its side and temp controlled it just goes bad. But the picture is awesome!l
Dachsbau-Angebot? So the "skull" is a lying badger...
Doesn't exactly inspire a party does it?
i work with deisel engines and "deutz" is a type of smaller deisel engine...mainly for roadcutting saws.....i guess they have a wine dept.
I did not see a skull, only the drunken badger. I asumed this was in or near the aforementioned "Badger Club". The badger looks a little big like a panda bear. Most badgers I have met are a lot toothier and mean. Maybe the booze makes them happy and cuddly.
