Would have been a nice hangout in its day,but this isn't its day ..
Looks very 1964...
That center lighting area looks nice.
Whoa...

That is ... funky to say the least. I like the color!
I guess that's supposed to be a dance floor there between the pillars. Even in its day, this place looks like it was kind of tacky.
Gold and Dark blue... Kind of Egyptian, then on second glance isnt that little fur trees on the posts
this is amazing
DISCO!! Bow-chicka-bow-bow. Reminds me of the gym decorations for our senior prom, 1975.
Reminds me of the Regal Beagle on Three's Company. Same colors.
After pounding a few liters of that good German beer, who cares about the decorations? Where's the frauleins mit nein undahosen?
Umm....calling my daughter to translate that (too lazy to look it up)...

Young lady with no underwear??? Uh....ok...
I wonder if the light in the ceiling is also ventilation for cigarette smoke? I think there is something like this in Grand Central Station?
Actually, MamaToFiveInPA, it would be "Junge Dame mit keine Unterwäsche."
Ahhhahahah...I suck at German.

What would frauleins mit nein undahosen mean then?

Geez...what you translated makes it sound SO dirty lol. :D Thanks for the info tho! :)
Ferdy: Aw, C'mon...dontcha just DIG that groovy gold and blue disco poles? And you KNOW that stylin' rust carpet is just the THING in today's clubs..lol...(watching all the gold ceiling flashers flashing)...."you should be DAAAAANCIN...YEAH!!!!!"....
I had been summoned back. Young ladies that are not wearing any underwear, that is correct. Something any guy would like to find in a night club. Girls gone commando.
Oh auotguy, I was so impressed by your German .... Then Mama translated.....that's more for the Chive then Opacity...
The lighting looks like Golden Mushrooms!
LOL Sorry Jernfurdle...:D

Add one of those funky disco-lights in here and we have a PAR-TAY. :D
Groovy, I would hang there...
What do you mean? Dachsbau is not German but...?
That crazy pattern on the posts looks like holiday wrapping paper my granny had once a long time ago.
Upon my visit there, my first thought was: WOW. Reminds me of GHOST SHIP.
Those are baby zombie pods coming through the ceiling. The central fixture generates heat to bring the babies to life.
