Interesting-looking tiles... or is it the cement?
I think it is the grout left when the tiles were removed. If you look at the door sill, you can see a few remaining tiles.
I like those doors at the entrance.

I see what Andy sees...so that is a pattern that was UNDERNEATH the tiles? That is beautiful in its own right!

Yes, i agree strange paint job....maybe one they started but never finished perhaps. Nice doors and entry however.
Agreed, it looks like the cement under the tiles but what a wonderful pattern it's making! The doors are beautiful, they must have been so pretty back in the day, although I don't understand all the different colors, lol.
Those colors and paint scheme probably mandated in a soviet procedure manual.
