The exterior brickwork was very nice, it was a real shame to see it all being crushed by bulldozers in recent photos.

great set of a beautiful building. Too bad it could not be saved, but that water damage had gone too far. Thanks so much for the fine work you do!!!
Thanks for another great gallery Mr. Motts. No lone chair shot this time!! Please take more photos of US/Canadian hospitals/asylums.
Motts Thanks for another wonderful gallery to see everyday.
It's sad to see it meet it's fate like that.
Oh well, Motts these German galleries have been great.
I hope there's more, but if not it's all good anyway.
Thanks for the last tour of this old hospital.
Well,Motts you have done it agan, but then I don't think you are capable of doing inferior work .Thanks again for a great gallery
Not only do you take beautiful photographs, but I appreciate the research you do into the history of the buildings. I enjoy knowing a little bit about what I'm looking at. Keep up the good work.
Another piece of history is history. :(
Thanks for documenting it before it met its end Motts!
its such a shame to see such a beautifull building go to waste when they drove a load of diggers through it :(. But then it was probably more cost effective to knock it down and rebuild, than refurbish
I agree...those windows look like sad empty eyes, looking out on a world that it no longer recognizes, or that recognizes IT...

Sigh. I wax poetic tonight. :)

Time for bed! Our 15-month-old needs to b e fed and put to bed too. :)

Thanks for the gallary Mr. Motts! I have to catch up on the other 2 I missed, IF I can. :)
Well at least the brilliant brickwork will live on through this gallery, thanks.
Thanks for another spectacular gallery.
what Toot said!
Really enjoyed this! This place really lent itself to some fabulous photos!
The beautiful, jewel-like aspect of many of the photographs in this series was especially appealing. And thank you, sir, for often taking the time to leave informative comments about the pics you take and the sites you visit. I LIKE having my curiosity assuaged. Excellent gallery.
All of the above comments are appropriate--nice work.
In the bottom middle window, in the middle bottom pane (the only one not boarded up) there looks to be a person in a white shirt standing there....creepy. Motts it looks as though an old patient is watching you
Extrem grosses Lob an den Fotografen!
