An odd dual-hallway; I would assume the old airfield building (brick wall on the left) was extended when the hospital was constructed.

Yes, makes a very nice shot indeed :) Interesting colors of mold in shades of Gold, Green, & Pink in that hallway

Creepy. I like the shot, but for some reason, the atmosphere/ambiance (can't decide on the best word >:-*) that surrounds "skylight light" in buildings is always a little strange-feeling to me. I wouldn't want one in my house. Maybe that's just me. Anybody else prefer plain old WINDOWS for light?

Hello Mr. Morts, it's been a while since I've had time to visit. I see you've been busy, as I have been as well. I'm in the process of renovating a house we just bought. I've been thinking a lot about your photos as I peel away the layers of this house...I have some photos of my own that I took throughout the process. They look like some abandoned crumbling house. It is amazing what you can learn about a structure and the people who occupied it just by observing, without ever having met them.The smells, the wear marks on the walls and doors, what you find in the walls, under layers of plaster, under carpet...it's been fascinating. It makes me wonder what it feels like to see and feel these places in person.
Thanks for all the new galleries...I have a lot of catching up to do!

Sure, whenever I can. I'm usually just walking around, not disturbing / cutting into material, so I don't think it's really much to worry about.

That's a relief!

A few of the pictures I've seen like this one look kind of asbestos-y!

Wish you could see some of the old buildings where I work - unforunately being MOD territory I cannot share the pictures!
