Too Deep

Too Deep

This extremely deep stairwell looked very intriguing... but alas, no waders to navigate the 3-4 feet of water at the bottom!

Those steps look a bit too narrow anyway! Thanks for another surprise Monday gallery!!
What building was this in Mr Motts?? What a beautifull gallery and what memorys you must have of these places. Thanks so much again for a wonderfull afternoon..
Ah, there be zombies....at last.

I suggest running away.

Very quickly.
can you please go back to this place when it's remodeled.
and thank you again
Zombie swimming pool!!!!

That is really a freaky picture...makes me dizzy and curious all at the same time. :)

Great gallery Mr. Motts! Keep em comin!

My daughter took German in 6th Grade (the grade she just finished) and now she is going around the house speaking German...it makes me think of you and your wonderful pictures, and it drives me insane. :) See...I think about you! :)
Thank you for keeping these incredible places alive. This was another beautiful gallery and it showcased true old world German craftsmanship. This was the real deal.
Creepy. Infested with toxic undead?
Thanks; this, and the previous three photos are from the same bunker-like structure.
This was a great way to brighten a crappy Monday! Thanks Motts! Love seeing the world through your eyes.
Very nice gallery, thanks.
No telling what kind of nasty water rats down there! Ooooooo! Thanks Mr. Motts for another journey to a truly remarkable place. I think most of us would follow you anywhere :)
Look how steep that drop off is on the second set of stairs into the darkness...freaky!
Depending on when the bunker was built it may have been used for any number of things. The out area reminds me of some of the tank repair, maintenance, and storage structures you see, but up until WWI cavalry was still a very strong part of many armies.
Thanks Motts for another wonderful gallery to see everyday. Keep taking more picture of these Places.
I'd be scared to death to even think about going down there. I don't like heights, or being on ladders. So, this is a weird combination for me... negative height, perhaps? I'd still be on a ladder, but going the opposite direction...equally as scary to me. LOL!!! (The black water doesn't help anything, either. Terrified of water I can't see the bottom of (if I have to go in / near it) Well, I'm just a big baby, aren't I ? LOL!!! :)
Great series, as always!
This is likely a bomb shelter. Funny that they put it under their ordnance.
Love your photos Motts, but I'm not following you any where.

I'm with saywardstudio.

Heights and deep dark water... add a clown and thats like my trifecta of fear .
Yeah...I would be afraid that someone...or THING would eat me in two bites if I dared go down there. I think I will be staying up here where it is nice and dry and just let Mr. Motts go and explore these dark and scary places. :)

(And I don't think you are a baby Saywardstudio at all!)
Thanks Motts, another great gallery!
Looks like the stairs never end.
Thanks Motts for another great gallery. I sure woulnt want to go down there myself. Hi Debbie, miss you.
Hi! Jackie B. i am flying to New York on Tuesday Night to Meet u. I can't wait to meet you on tuesday afternoon.
Love the photo gallery! Maybe the stairs lead to some type of missile bunker, or secret passage way to another building on the property?
Hi Debbie, Id love to meet you and explore some places around here
Hi! JackieB. I Miss you. I love to meet u too. U can show me around Newyork. I never ever been to NewYork in my Life.
Shot for shot this is by far my favorite gallery you've done, and I think I've seen 'em all.
Not sure why but that makes me shudder! REALLY cool set as always, Mr. Motts! What a great place, thanks for sharing!
Fantastic set Motts, thank you!
Where is this stairwell located? I have been there several times in the past 5-6 yrs and have never seen it!

Question: Is the color of the sky blue or green?
