Whoever built this REALLY loved checkers...hence the color scheme
I was thinking the same thing. And the "checkerboard" doesn't go with the rest of the building.
That is gorgeous. It would make a great shot and great wallpaper if cropped a bit to have only the brick and tile wall. Now THAT's the way to let light and air in without having the ugly metal bars or mesh.
One of my favorite photos in this gallery. Love the light coming through the brick and its masonry design.

This is really, really nice.
The red brick checkerboard looks like it was added after the fact. Cool looking, but out of place.
Motts you should make more pictures avalilable as wallpapers.
