I like them, too. But why did they paint EVERY room and hallway one color halfway up, and another color the rest of the way?

Nice and clean hallway. I think in buildings with very high ceilings, paint is applied to about head height and the rest is left plain. I think it is to define the space you're in (head height) and not overwhelm with the entire 10 or 12 foot high ceiling.

This hallway looks a lot cleaner and well-maintained than some of the others.
