Beutiful wood work whatever it was. A lot of craftmanship went into that room.

Beautiful shelving. This room appears to be in decent condition. Take out the trash, polish the wood, run the sweeper, and you're in business.

For some reason i can't explain this room puts me in mind of a lawyers office or a banker. I can see a large mahogany desk in the middle of the room and law books on the shelf while a man peers across the desk at you in a condescending sort of way.

I agree with Vince too. My first thought was actually of a den or a work-room for a lawyer or a CPA. That woodwork is absolutely stunning! I would love to know also what was in those boxes lol. :)

This place is in good shape - ok that room is. Ceiling intact, lights intact, wood is beautiful. Windows even! Is this place being saved/renovated?

Not personally, they keep the place buttoned up pretty tight and it is patrolled regularly.

It's nice to see it intact and beautiful. When the power and heat go, and they stop patrolling and windows are broken, a building deteriorates fast.

I wouldnt mind going and exploring around this place myself, if i knew where it was and if it wasnt too far away from me
I went and checked out the old rope factory of hooven alison thise office are remins me of some of their rooms..though not quite as fancy
