Settle In

I couldn't visit without taking a few photos of the wonderfully decayed theater.

I have never heard it put that way,but wonderfully decayed seems to fit this exactly.
Wow, what a difference from the previous, more-or-less cheerful, bright shot of the isolation room.
Oooo, shows what having an open roof will do to a room. If I remember correctly from your previous visit, there was snow on the stage from a hole topside. Beautiful transformation and decay. Mother Nature is the perfect artist.
Great place to watch The Shining in!!
Water and time make fast work of even the mightiest of buildings.
Fabulous shot.
The back wall actually almost looks like it is trees or shrubbery if you look at it fast...giving the illusion that nature is right up there on stage. UGH this makes me want to go clean something now lol.
Loving the colors in the stage and on the walls.
a setting from the rocky horror pitcher show?
The only audience now is the junk that fell from the ceiling.
What a difference between the library/board room and the theater. Looks like a totally different location. This is a killer shot.
Yea, I don't know what it is about decaying theaters, but I have to say I think they're my favorite! Next to the hospitals of course!
A live performance of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is running and no one's there to watch it. Rats!
great photo...
Whoa. That would make an amazing water color.
Zombie Can-Can dancers will be taking the stage soon.
Ahha!! Good ole decay!! To bad they wouldn't preserve the theater.
the stage looks like a look at the stars and in the seats it kind of looks like a viewer left behind who doesnt give a s&*$! about the show but is still around.
