Woa, that shag carpeting from the 1960's doesn't look to good!
Are you sure that's carpet? It looks like moss.
Looks like moss and plaster to me too, institutions mostly had tile or vinyl floors for easy clean ups. If I'm not mistaken, I can see white and green lino under all that mess.
How sad and tragic this shot feels.
That table is exactly the same as the one in the shot of the hole in the roof, a few photos prior to this one.
Makes you wonder why someone moved that radiator cover? It it was just kids, they likely would have just thrown it across the room and not set it against another wall...
Looks like it's been there a while with the rubble piled on top of it.

Moved it to disconnect the hot water heater when this wing was abandoned?
Reminds me of thousands of puzzle pieces...Would not want the job of putting them together
A lot of lonely people stared out that window over the decades. They probably watched the snow fall against a street light at night missing family during the holidays. Maybe they heard faint Christmas songs coming from a radio at the nurses station. If they stood close enough they could feel the cold air seep in around the window frame.
Larry I think you put it very well!
This is a very lonely shot. I can't imagine looking out the window as Larry said, just thinking about family on the "outside" perhaps and hearing people outside (nurses or others going off-shift) and feeling so sad and trapped...
That looks like my bathroom floor.
Derr....autoguy? If that looks like your bathroom floor, I would say that you are in desperate need of a...maid perhaps...or a bathroom remodling company?

(Don't hurt me...>.>)
Motts have you ever stayed over night in a place like this...not for paranormal reasons or anything, just to take some really neat pictures? You seem to take alot in the dawn and dusk hours...stunning by the way
