Traverse

Traverse

Corridors on the second and first floors connected this long-abandoned wing to the main building, and were quite impressive looking. What lies behind the locked door at the end? A brightly lit ward bustling with activity, or another maze of decay? Unfortunately it was locked up tight.

Wow. Would have been a surprise to open the door and be in the middle of activity!
If im not mistaken thats exactly what would happen
The windows look to be in perfect shape. They must have protected this place like Fort Knox from vandals.
It's strange to think that one door could be the transition point from decay and abandonment into activity and use.
I want to go find out now, except I wouldn't want to vandalize the place.
Another great perspective shot thanks to Mr. Mott's great eye and talent. The two items that I previously thought were tables are, I think, radiator covers, as are shown here. Probably to prevent people from being burned on the hot metal.
This hall looks safe, I see no tell tale signs of bodies being dragged into the dark, dark doorway.
What a shame it was locked...Could you see anything through the window part of the door? Looks dark in there.
Now we will never know what lies behind the green door!
HAHAH Binky! You are stealing my comments! :D

This is ONE LONG CORRIDOR that is for sure. I just had a mental pic of Mr. Motts opening that door to a bustling ward full of people...I can almost see his face..."ooops! Ehh...HI?" LOL!
This reminds me of The Walking Dead for some reason.....
Wow.
The zombies here must eat the bodies in place and do not drag them around. Hey Canada, I missed my big chance to be a zombie, darn! They are taping The Walking Dead right near me. I missed the casting call. A life-long dream, shattered.
Poor autoguy...well, maybe that means something BIGGER is coming along for you soon!! Maybe you will be cast as a HEAD Zombie (get it...HEAD...brains...okay BAD pun)...

:D I can just see a zombie dragging a fresh kill down this corridor..*eeeehhhhhh...brraiiiiinnns at lassstttt" lol.
I understand autoguy. I worked at western center in pa. when they filmed silence of the lambs, but still missed my chance . maybe one day ........good luck !!
Thnx for the encouragement! I want to be a fat geezer zombie that takes a big bite out of somebody's head, and then I get splattered all over.
yummy......can't wait for that scene.......LOL
The green mile
I can't imagine trying to clean all of those little windows. That would drive me to the point of needing to be admitted!
After I posted in the one labeled "Heaven", the two shots are different in that this one is a little more decayed, but that doesn't take anything away from it. I like both shots equally & this would make a great wallpaper too.
maybe thay where hiding somthing there like the things thay used or documents
