Some of these retro safety chairs (no sharp edges, easy to clean) were made of molded plastic; others in the back were fiberglass.

Cool chairs in a strange sort of way!
They sure are Bob! Love all the colors.
Awesome cool chairs...kinda weird they remind me of half burned down candles... expecting a wick in the middle of the seat....
Such colorful chairs! It's so neat to see what gets left behind in these places, no matter how simple.
It's like traveling back in time! I actually like how bright and vibrant they are.
I want one of these! It looks to be quite comfortable.
I'll take a blue one please.
Wow, how neat. Love the colours, shapes, textures.
markymark - that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this, that they were a bunch of candles. Glad to know I'm not the only one, I thought my eyes were going (again).
Safety Chair!
I can dig it, man. Hey, these are hot repro items now!
Makes for a colorful shot and the low blue ones remind me of my old bean bag chair i used to fall into when i was a teenager.
Looks like Weebles, wobble but won't fall down?
Wow...I think my Grandma had one of these chairs way back when! She has pictures of herself in a chair that looks suspiciously like these. :D

I thought of candles too...then I thought...how colorful lol. The ones in the back sort of remind me of the chairs I used to sit in when I was in elementary school...except those were rounded at the top.
Motts is that water in the two chairs i see there?
In the Blue and green.
Retro. Very unique find!
I want these chairs in my house! I wonder if they duplcate these?!
VERY cool! Those go with the Orgasmatron Mark IV.
LOL autoguy...I agree. VERY retro chairs. :D
Hey, we had those same blue chairs at western center. At least the piss was easy to clean out of them when they had accidents.........ahhh, the memories........LOL
These would be hard to resist. lol....seriously, this is such a waste, in that someone could have used them. But, it makes for a striking photo !
I want ALL of them (or at least one in every color LOL). These may be worth a pretty penny; never seen them before.
People would pay a fortune for those chairs. Beautiful. I hope they made some of those poor people happy.
Yeah, I thought of the bean bag chairs too, when looking at the little blue ones. They look small, like for kids. Could it be that the blue ones were where the idea for where beanbag chairs came from?
I want a little blue one :D
