Good one, AD Nilsen. The plant looks awfully close to the water (which of course it would be, but this shot makes it look as if you're almost IN the water).
GREAT SHOT, and you can see the old scow very well
This looks like a vintage photo. The tones and lighting are excellent. Still the old scow sits and waits..and waits.
It must have been so lud there with the sound of the water crashing.
Wonder if they worry about the old scow breaking free and going over the falls.
I love the skyline just barely visible through the mist/weather.
I remember my grandfather telling me a story about that old barge that ran aground. He said the guys on that barge had hair that turned grey overnight from the stress they were going through.
I hate when I go over that on a barge!
