The very top of the building held raised letters which read "Electrical Development Co. of _____ted." Part of the stone was missing.

Edit: it read, The Electrical Development Company of Ontario Limited.

Hey Motts it is to bad that Afghanistan is so dangerous (for many reasons). But also because Darul Aman Palace and Tapa-e-Tajbeg Palace in Kabul would be a cool place to photograph. I got a little bit of a look at both from the outside on my second tour in Afghanistan. Sadly Darul Aman is all bombed out but Tapa-e-Tajbeg is in better shape. Maybe one day Afghanistan will be safe and these places can be photographed all though that is a big maybe. Ah wishful thinking.

Those are pretty wild looking ruins there in Kabul; there's also a neat tank graveyard there. I'll mark it all down, who knows what the future will hold.

Thanks and ya there was a lot of cool places their from tank and helicopter grave yards to buildings in Kandahar as old as 1980s like the old Russian barracks to places hundreds of years old. As far as tanks and APCs go they where every where left buy the Russians, unfortunately so where the land mines. Well I will have to go though the pictures I got from over their and put them up in the forum if every one would like.

mott's dude, i would love to see ur pics of chernobyle someday down the line if you go. i was thinking of going but its an expensive flight ($1255 from logan) and its still a 5 hour drive from Lviv where the airport is. i'm dying to shoot a few pics of that place!!
