Beautiful masonry. This is a work of art. Is the lower section made out of marble??
The masonary is great, however I can't help but think it'd look better had it been rendered.

I agree with the rest. I can't imagine putting in those bricks on the upper part of that celing...Sheesh. It makes me dizzy just thinking about it.
Sure does make you wonder how they built these behemoths without all the technology we have today. And with the technology, we have gone back to sterile cookie cutter ugly buildings.
Perhaps at the right side of the words To Street, it said To Trains??

The brick work is beautiful!
Al= lot of the proken glass has been remmoved sice this picture was taken and they have been painting the the gold part of the windows.
