Obelisk

Obelisk

The obelisks adorn a raised parking lot that surrounds half of the main terminal building; the baggage building is in the background.

This is great! Thanks for the new gallery Mr. Motts!
A new gallery! What a great way to start the day. I'm probably going to be late for work now but this is worth it. The Buffalo Central Terminal is massive to say the least.
*Smiling with delight* A New Gallery! Thanks so much Motts!
Woohooo. :) Is it me or does it almost look like a FACE on that obelisk? See the two eyes and the mouth? Creepy lol. :)
Awesome! And its always better when there is no skulking involved!
Mama I see the face too .
Fantastic, a new gallery!!! I see the face too, Mama, with a cap of hair. I agree Larry D, Mr. Motts' galleries are too hard to resist!!!
Doesn't look like there is a window in the whole building that isn't broken?
Wow late to the party but still great to be here.
LOVE it!
And it's reputed to be haunted by a gentleman named Tony who had a massive apartment there.
:D
looks like a face on the obelisk
yeah the face of a baboon ,my dad sold tickets from those booths in the late 40s and bid up to traffic tower switch yard operator, he sent the trains down the right tracks,1983 was the year he retired from conrail he had 39 years in.I used to love looking at the bison in the great hall as a kid, i also used to go to the terminal to shovel snow for a few extra bucks , had my physical for my own railroad job right there in the tower 1n 1976.
I'm back again, its been awhile since I've been here. In this building, all of the broken glass has removed.
