The brick by the door adds a lot to this shot
This reminds me of my Grandmothers old house, nice warm feeling inside.
Yes, I agree, Goodspeed.
Isn't that doorknob a bit low to the ground? I love how the paint and plaster is peeling away just a little bit by the door to reveal the brink underneath. It looks so cool...almost like an album cover for some band.
*brick...sorry rushing to get my daughter on the bus to school. :D
The window looks bigger than the door.
Vanessa, I've been thinking the same thing...Grandma's house! The doors, doorknobs, windows, woodwork, etc.

MamatoFive: Do you think the doors were very tall, in which case the doorknobs would be in the right place?
This shot is messing with my head. Is the doorknob too low or is the door too big? Is the window that big compared to the door? Oww, my brain hurts!
I'm with you ,Larry D
LOL look up at my comment Larry lol. That is what I said! Being only 5'0" pretty much everything is "tall" to me.

I know I know...the door is upside-down!!! There we go. Brain is fixed now.
I'd say the door knob is really low.
If you walk through that door do you end up in John Malkovich's head?
Looks like a lot of water damage. Maybe there was a bathroom or something directly upstairs?

Nice bricks. Peekaboo!
that door looks really small. or are there just high ceilings?
if the door is over sized. thats a high ceiling
