Lots of trash and decay amist the beauty of ages gone by
This shot has a sad feeling to it.
The indifference displayed in it's current condition.
I agree A D Nilsen. It makes me feel so sad for some reason, as if there is so much hope and love that was housed here, and now, it is just forgotten and abandoned and left to die in its own sad rubble. :( Sad picture.

It is funny how Motts' pictures stir up such strong feelings in all of us, isn't it?
Beyond the beyond. . . love it!
Just imagine the sound of this place all the echoes echoing off those high ceilings. Must have felt so alive here now.... silence.
What a shame. And all the things that have fallen apart on the floor. The church was sold for $7,000 and they had a grant or something to repair it, but money went astray (see information written by Mr. Motts on the title page to this gallery), what a terrible shame.
