What does it say written by hand on that reminder?
Qualudes ?
That's what it looks like, Qualudes
Oh yes, that makes sense. Thanks guys!
Uh, how does this make sense? Qualudes? is that some sort of medicine?
Some more recent visitor has scratched out B.P. and way to the left of it has written in Qualudes, which I think are some sort of tranquilizer used by drug addicts (and others). I think, I'm not sure.
HAHAHA...yeah that is exactly what it looks like BKWOntario. Did YOU take your Quaaludes today?? Dang...knew I forgot something!

What an odd sign to see. :)
Yes Quaaludes are a barbiturate; I'm guessing it's a twist on the already wry humor (preparing one's self for leaving the staff area and entering the wards).
Probably a reminder to those about to exit the hospital into reality to be prepared....
Hmmm, checking pockets, checking, checking, oh here they are. Thanks!
I lived in Knoxville Iowa for twelve years where they were a large VA hospital. When you were uptown you could always tell the VA patients by the pills ratlling around in their pockets.
Did you do any ludes today?
Quaaludes were "downers"-barbituates I do believe, originally used as sleeping pills but quickly snapped up in the drug world. They came in 2 strengths I believe-the higher stamped with the number 714 (hence the line in the Rick James song Superfreak "in room 714 I'll be waiting"), the lower stamped with 712.
From the numbers on my meds, I'm in room C17, or 13, but since I take two of the latter per diem, maybe room 26?
LOL I'll put this on my facebook and watch everyone go "WTF I don't even......"
