Yech! Looks like a pile of hair, etc. that was gathered by a chipmunk or squirrel to be a nest, but they usually don't nest right in the middle of the floor (which is where I assume this is?).

Those teeth and beady eyes looks definitely like a possum. These poor creatures dont look much better alive...Oooooo!

EEEECH! That poor animal! It does look like a very mal-nourished possum. I've seen my share of dead critters in my day but this just takes the cake how it is in the middle of a mass of hair and whatever-else like it is.

I feel bad for it. Did it smell really bad Mr. Motts??

It looks like an opossum, it died there and decayed, its hair fell out during the process. Quite interesting, if a touch morbid. ;-)
