Psychopathic Building

Psychopathic Building

The cornerstone located near the main entrance, engraved with the original name of the building. It should be noted that the word "psychopathic" held a different connotation than it does in this modern era - it was simply used to describe general mental and behavioral disorders that were considered treatable.

I like this picture. Thanks for the explanation on the use of the word "psychopathic" Motts.
Do you suppose there is anything buried in that cornerstone, like a time capsule from when the place was built? How cool would that be to find?!
Yeah eldokid! That is a great point! I wonder if there are any artifacts buried in the cornerstone. Too bad it will never be known unless the building falls...

Wow. 1914 was even before my GRANDMA was born! She just turned 89...so this building is coming up on 100 years old in 3 years! :D
I think it would be awesome to make a building out of the corner stones and placards from old buildings that are being torn down.
Quite an idea, Evil. I'm for any idea that keeps the history of these forgotten places alive.
awesome.
Are you a psychopath, or maybe a psycho-boulevard? Hahaha!
Hmm, maybe just "mentalpath"
most places built back then did have cornerstones...how interesting it would be to get into one then again seeing the pics of the building does say alot too...thank you for such wonderful pictures.
