I love the panos, ithis hospital was a t the bottom of my list maybe it will move up a little
Motts, how does one get to tag along on one of your trips? I would love to explore with you! You have such an amazing eye for these places; still the best in my opinion. Let me know!!
Motts!! Thanks for another wonderful new gallery to see everyday. Keep up the wonderful work you do.
Yes, thank you for turning a rotten, miserable morning into a great one! I can't help but wonder why someone hasn't bought this place and turned it into something residential, either senior or otherwise. It's a magnificent place. (wish I knew where it was!!)
I presume this is the Kirkbride building? Everything is equal to left and right. This is the second of your panoramas I've viewed - very neat and interesting. Thanks for another great gallery, Mr Motts.
Thanks, no the Kirkbride was demolished in the 1960s.
The grounds look SO well-kept still and the roadway/pathway is almost pristine! If you didn't know better, you would think this is a college campus or something like that.

Great pictures Mr. Motts! My proverbial hat is off ro you once again! If you are up my way, give me a shout! :D
Another Special Gallery of photos! Thanks so much! My sincere appreciation for letting us all see these places through the eye of you and your camera :)
Thanks for the gallery Motts!
this is awesome, the bright red stop signs and the orange netting just don't belong for the age of the building. great set motts.
Man windows intact, roof intact, no graffiti to speak of, only one room in ruins....they need to repurpose this place and not let it fall to pieces!
This grand old lady has life left in her. The building seems pretty solid. A million thanks, Mr. Motts. I can't think of anything greater than having a God given talent & sharing it with the world. You are truly The Master.
That would make some rich guy a great mansion, if they were willing to do a bit of renovation.
Thanks once again for the wonderful gallery Mr Motts. I have got to ask how do you always find such wonderful places to photograph. I have looked at a lot of the other sites and they are good but you seem to find better locations and consistently.
Thank you; I find these places through a number of channels, including historical research (old maps, documents, etc), word of mouth, current news, and other documented explorations posted online. Some are found by accident as well - perhaps looking at an aerial photo of a city, or just driving around.
Another great gallery!
Motts I really enjoyed it. :)
Thanks!!!!
Another outstanding set of works. Your timely preservation of these architectural cast-offs is very well done.
Thnx for another great post!
Thanks Motts, that filled in some time in what is currently a boring, wet Saturday night.
Wow, that was one huge building!!
I see the buiilding, as a giant face devowering all who enters
A lovely gallery, Mr. Motts, and gently and tenderly pictured, such sad beauty, but you are giving the building with its hallways and rooms credit.
wow what i beautiful place
The majority of the other buildings on campus with this site are still partially in use as rehab centers for various casuse from drug abuse to kleptomania, there are also some other very interesting patient cottages that are abandoned and are operated through portable facilities located within the courtyards of the buildings, its a beautiful drive around campus, the architecture is beautiful during the day and truely haunting by nightfall! great gallery Motts
