Strange that the tops of the chairs are cut off in half exactly alike. Weird.
(And at least the lonely chair ISN'T lonely!!)
Those are bazaar looking chairs. Are they chairs?
The Butabi Brothers! What is Love? Baby don't hurt me (for posting that).
Yeah, that's weird...both of 'em being busted alike. Maybe it was done intentionally...?
Those are identical twin lonely chairs!
this place has a problem with chairs
Holy moly! That's awesome! Good eye, Motts!!!
Maybe they assumed if they cut something off they'd get out of there?
Surreal.
I agree, Rekrats. Great shot.
Twins that are BFF
Felyne, that cracked me up!

Aww, they are indeed friends forever...or twins!
they both went to the same barber shop lol
two chairs, half off....today only
no, not 1/2 off, 1/4 off
LOL Merc, you got me there :)
Why are chairs always seen as lonely? If folks stopped shoving their smelly butt in my face and farting at me all the time, I'd be happy!
LOL autoguy! You have a VERY good point!
Ooh, what a great spiral in the paint!! The chairs do immediately bring to mind those pendants that little girls exchange - two halves of a heart that make a whole when placed side by side - "Best Friends". Awesome.
These are phenol resin chairs. Tough stuff, but it does fracture. In this case they both broke where screws attached them to the steel chair frame.

Steel screws, rust, semi-porous material, high humidity. Not a great combo.

It's probably simply coincidence they fractured in a similar way.
at least the paint chips have someplace to sit. :'D
Reminds me of my best friend summer and I
ohh man, seeing them chairs dragged me back to High school. There was a classroom near the Wood Shop that stored all the broken chairs so Maintenance could cobble chairs together- you'd get red seats with blue backs...
