Good title. It does look like a larva of some strange, large, and possibly lethal insect. *Shiver*

That peeling wallpaper makes it look as if it is breaking from its shell!!

I love the hole on the wall behind the chair that has the shape of a small person laying at the same angle as the chair.. looks like they slid out.. o.O

Comfy looking chair. I wonder what it was used for. Dentist? Very interesting hole in the wall. Looks like something out of a Road Runner cartoon. And how did a dinner plate wind up on the seat? It's mysteries like these that makes exploring these facilities so fascinating.

You know, Mr. Motts, I initially thought, "Wow, that looks like a comfy chair" and then saw your title. Now it's only larva to me. I don't need to be sitting in that now. ;) I wonder if it was a dentist chair.

Thats a very creepy looking chair. The walls seem to have a formica coating thats falling apart. It is a mystery as to how that plate got there. Maybe it was just dropped there when the place closed and nobody cared to throw it in the garbage

...it might have been comfy when it was the newest thing on the market. I don't think dental chairs these days are made to resemble upended Alice in Wonderland caterpillars.

Growing up we had a chair similar to this in front of the TV that we used to fight over to see who got to sit in it. It was very comfortable and ours had two controls, one for heat and one for a massage that made the chair vibrate, slow, medium or fast. I was sorry to see that chair go, it was the best chair for TV watching.
