Oh geez....I thought this was a head with some kind of cone on it...

I like that color blue, but the cruddy off-white above it really takes away from it.
Wow! Frozen in time. There's even a can of hair spray on the counter. Boy, they had some high ceilings in here.
They needed the high ceilings so the fumes from the hair spray had someplace to go!
How interesting! Reminds me of the shop of an old lady friend i visited when i was a kid. Yes they called it spray lacquer back then, lol, @ it would keep your hair in place for a month! :)
What a difference from the other parts of the hospital. Much more 'vintage".
I like the steam pipe in the corner...
I wonder what was the books lying on the floor next to " Johnny 5"?
Reminds me of another gallery (which one escapes me) with the hair dryers that kinda looked like evil robots or something from Fallout 3
Sad hair dryer, left all alone with nothing but its own reflection... for all time...
welcome to the mind conditioner.
Arrrghghg - this is horrible - horrible ugly scary - that's why I can't stop looking at it - .....shudder & shiver......
Fry the beehive!
Mikey--looks like a hardcover novel maybe...I have NO idea what though. That poor hair dryer has nothing to look at but itself...how tragic.
Mama he does look a little down in the dumps
I've always thought these titles give personality to the objects portrayed in really amazing ways
hey momma welcome to the 60s!
AH! I missed the 60's just by THHHHAAAAT much. I was born in 1971 lol. I hear that decade was a real blast though. :D
"spray laquer"?? Figures. Only horrendous beehive clown hair would justify aerosol cans of that stuff invented for use on one's head.
Love the blue in the background.
Uh-huh, the old "hair dryer" ruse. Those things are skull cutters for the lobotomies. They zip off the skull cap quick and easy, clean as a whistle. That old hairdo ploy worked every time!
That hairspray can is quite a little focal point. Amazing find.
Is it morbid that im in beauty school and i want to open my own business...mainly that i would totally hang this as a main photograph in my salon? i personally think it is badass...
