Float

Float

A mural of hot air balloons drifting over a lake in the summer was painted on the left.

Very strange ceiling, is it tin with pieces missing?
It almost looks as if the walls are collapsing inward.

Very claustrophobic!
Doesn't look like the mural is peeling like the walls and ceiling are, different type of paint maybe?
I can imagine someone staring at this mural, letting their imagination take them to a happier place, if only for a little while.
It is kinda hard to really imagine what these people had on their minds
I know if i was stuck in there id be wanting to hop a ride on one of those air balloons and float far, far away from this hole. I agree Larry D.
NICE perspective hallway shot!
Liking the painting.
painting is nice, A for effort for helping the mind escape
Thats a sweet looking mural. I remember in high school painting a mural similar to this in size on the hallway wall outside of the art room.
Maybe the painting is done in oil, eldokid, while the walls are latex? Someone took their time painting that picture, in any case!
This is my first time commenting. This hallway scene really draws me in to it as if I were actually there. Mr.Motts, your photography is the best!! Since finding your website two months ago, I have been viewing it almost every day. Keep up the good work!
The Hot Air Baloon mural is nice ,but all the tin was brought down in the ceiling. Like the tin ceilings. I could see a patient staring at the murals for hours that is stuck sitting there in the wheel chair.
There is a sense of movement in this shot. Really nice. I like the mural too. ;)
how many people going through those halls wished that they could jump into the mural instead of being there
Neat shot, great perspective!
Sad thing about murals painted right on the walls-can't take it with you.
Hmm, colours.
As far as murals in these old hospitals go, this is probably the least creepy of all the ones I've seen so far >.<
