Well I couldn't get my fat you-know-what through that doorway lol!

I wonder if this was a dayroom-type room or something.
I wonder why they made such a small doorway. I know they used to make things narrower than they do now, but that doorway seems super narrow by any standard.
Oh dear, I don't like the sound of that E.S.U....

Beautiful colours, all the same.
ESU would suggest emergency services unit, but I would think they would have a larger door and more stuff left behind if that was the case, so I would assume it is something else.
Maybe Electric Shock Unit?
That is really a remarkable shot. Everything is centered & balanced perfectly. Those hardwood floors are in great shape.
Great composition & lighting. These buildings were works of art.
I can just see in my mind how the hardwood floors once gleamed with a deep, mellow glow brought about with regular, careful waxing and maintenance.
Phiftybuick I agree, nicely done.
I'll bet the door isn't as narrow as it looks because of the height of the door plus the transom window.
Odd that they never winded the doorway over the years for things like wheelchairs and medical equipment.
I agree with you Canada. I bet if this building were in use today, that doorway would of been widened for sure.
Reminds me of somebody with sleepy eyes that is yawning.
Now this is awesome!
Perhaps it means

E.xtra S.kinny U.nut for the anorexia patients
where"s lynn?? lol
Lynne hasn't commented since 9/19/2010. I hope she's OK. She's sorely missed. =8`-(
Once again, I second Larry D. Lynne? Where are you? Anyone?

Great shot though. :)
LOL Greenskuller beat me to it
E.S.U. stands for Evaluation and Stabilization Unit
