Even the storage rooms here are beautiful : ) Great Capture!
GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN/ Blah.

Nice capture though!
Always seems these places have that same caged-walled room with the same cubby-holed wooden storage structure in the back. I remember using cubby's like that waaaay back in elementary school. We used to stuff our coats and stuff in them when we got there to hold them throughout the day until we left.
Yeah TJcee...exactly. :)

They still have these cubbyhole spaces at the Mall where the Play Area is so the kids can leave their shoes while they play in the play-tunnels and stuff.
I don't know about you, Mama, but since I started being addicted to Opacity (it's been about 2 years now), whenever I see a place like that at the mall or in a hospital, I can't help but picture in my head what it's going to look like in 20, 40 or 50 years, after the facility has been abandoned and time has worked its ravages on the building.... I seem to see the future of man's works everywhere I look. Office complexes, medical facilities... all of them will some day fall prey to either the elements or the wrecking ball.
Reminds me of my old school, the interior of that was painted this exact colour, all the walls were cracked and peeling as well, and we're only talking about 5 years ago.
That's the Cat Scan of my head.
LOL.. Rekrats.. that's funny. I do that all the time now. Even at work. I go to the bathroom and look around and wonder if some day in the future, this building will be abandoned and someone will be in here photographing the bathroom and everyone will be commenting on it... =P .. I always look around now and ponder how the building and its rooms will decay.
OMFG Rekrats and Tjcee! I do THE SAME THING! When I go somewhere I think I wonder what this would look like in 50 years, all abandoned and destroyed by time...and if there will be a Motts to photograph it and many people on the Internet looking at the photos and commenting on them.

I drive my hubby CRAZY talking about that kind of stuff. See what you have done to us Mr. Motts? :D
Lots of worst stuff to talk about than Mr. Motts very special talent
Now sometimes my hubby will ask me if "that picture guy" has any new gallaries up lol! He doesn't look at them, but he knows it makes ME happy and I come down all excited telling him there is a new gallary up and don't bother me for the next hour or so lol. :)

(My hubby is VERY understanding!)
LOL Mama, my husband is the same way! He checks a few pics out but is generally staring at some sporting event. He has espn.com, I have opacity! ;) Plus with 5 kids, damn, your hubby needs to give you a break, lol!
I bet they stored things in here....yeah they did. I know they did. LOL
LOL Kathy...the nice thing is that the oldest goes to school from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, 2 go to school from 8:20 am to 2:30 pm, one goes to preschool from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm and the other one is happy to play with his feet, explore the area I let him explore (his future room where his 2 brothers are), drool on himself, eat. poop, and sleep for most of the day. :D
Ahhhh, school! My son just turned 3 but won't go to preschool until September (it just worked out that way financially for us). Anyway, I love him to pieces but will be happy when he's in school for a few hours! Not that it doesn't stop me from going on here (um, I'm in the middle of folding laundry and Liam is playing with trucks). :-D
