Eee...they look uncomfy! is that doorway REALLY that narrow?
My guess is that the doors are of normal width (2'-8" to 3') but are unusually tall (maybe 8'?) With the transom above, they end up looking very narrow.
AH yeah, now that I look at them good you are right. :) They are exceptionally tall aren't they?
Perhaps the doors are that high so they can get the beached things in and out easily without having to compromise the security of a normal width doorway.
Mylanta green is bad enough... THIS is baby-poop green. Blech!
The serta perfect sleeper storage room.
Love that 6 panel door. Solid wood no doubt.
that door would make a fantastic table.... after you get rid of that nasty paint!!!
Oh my goodness it is the Green Door!

this room houses the coiled mattresses Wile E Coyote use to jump on to try and grab the roadrunner
Doorways did seem narrower back when alot of times. My former house, built in 1920, featured very strange doors between some rooms that were but a foot wide and seven feet tall. Odd sizing and placement... they almost seemed afterthoughts in the architecture. I know that isn't common, but construction did seem less regulated then.
