Great Gallery! Thanks again Motts...
GREAT GALLARY!! Thank you for the one-day-after-my-birthday present! :)

This kind of reminds me of a college campus a little. I can't wait to see your next gallary! I will be here patiently waiting!
Fantastic set! Sorry about leading the way into the prison...
Fantastic set! I need to visit this place again.
Thank you Mr. Motts!
I'm happy to see a new gallery. Great shots!
Great pictures, always fun to come and visit this site! Thanks Motts!
Wonderful pictures!
I do enjoy new pictures and that was very nice gallery. I am surprised to see the tin ceiling is still their as the panels are much beloved by scrappers looking for something to sell for scrap though the proximity to the prison may have helped that.
Breaking into prison was half the fun :-)
The colour shot has so much more life than the black and whites - looking at the older pictures it looked quite a gloomy place to be, but the red brick and the pines change the atmosphere quite considerably.
Oh - and fantastic gallery, Motts. Thank you!
As usual, fantastic shots. You really have a great eye. Thank you.
Your Photos....a welcomed event .... anytime! Appreciate your work sooo very much!
Thank you Mr. Motts. A tremendous amount of research & hard work obviously goes into each & every gallery and we, the fans of Opacity, are but one of the benefactors. You see, before I became hooked on this web site, I had no idea who or what a Kirkbride was. I didn't know about hydrotherapy, or EST, or lobotomies as a state of the art treatment in it's day. I was unaware that the main treatment for TB years ago was fresh air outside. And my view of healthcare providers at these facilities did a 180 thanks to people like Lynne (God, I miss her). I guess what I'm trying to say here is this; Opacity makes a much broader difference in ways you may not realize. And it's much appreciated.
Well said, Larry. Thanks again, Mr. Motts. Another great set! This is THE place to be. The rest of the world doesn't know what they're missing!
Thanks Mr. Motts for another gorgeous gallery. Love the write ups you do at the beginning and the vintage photos. Awesome!
I agree with Larry. but awesome gallery Motts, breaking into prison would be exciting. lol, cant wait until next time.
Thanks again for the gallery, just in time for my birthday. You are a master of your hobby, Mr. Motts, and I am very appreciative of your contributions to this art.
Thanks Motts =) great set.
Motts that was a good one.
I need to check in more often!
Motts Thanks for another wonderful gallery to see everyday. Keep up the wonderful work you do. Hi! JackieB Where are you at. What do you think of this gallery.
Great comment Larry. Thanks Mr. Motts for another great gallery and I'll be looking for the next one. The hospitals are my favourite.
lol Mr. Motts, I think most people usually tend to try and go the other way around and break out :)
I agree with evilavatar...you are the ONLY person I know Mr. Motts that enjoys breaking INTO a prison lol. I am sure the people there would want the exact opposite! :D
Thanks Mr. Motts. You did a great job with this set. Really made me feel I was there exploring on my own. Can't wait to see the next set!
Mr Motts you seem to out do yourself every time. Thanks so much
Seems like a nice place. But crappers and chairs behind those walls along with a prosthetic leg, a wheel chair wheel with 2 toilets and a self introspect list from an AA meeting with an incomplete grade because the person didn't sign his/her name

but a grade A+ for this guy we know as Motts for his great work

I once again have to commend Larry. VERY well said.

Motts, if I could write as well as Larry I would say the exact same thing. Thank you for another fabulous gallery and thank you for sharing your work with us. Um, I am also very happy that you didn't wind up IN that prison, LOL! :-D
Outstanding work once again Mr. Motts.
thank you for the gallery Mr. Motts. Nice to see you didnt got to prision. You could have ended up as Bubba's love toy
LOL Joe! Bubba's love toy... =8-0
Couldn't have said it better myself Larry D! Thank You Mr. Motts!
Me too! JackieB. I would love to see this place with you.

Oops i got wiped out !
so geil
It's been almost a year since I checked out your site so I am glad I have plenty of things to look at to keep me busy for a bit. I really ♥
looking at your work.
These places are absolutely beautiful. Your work is amazing as well. Some of it looks as though it belongs in a horror movie. Most of them put up great looks for some haunted houses.
I asked my old friend Motts back in 1965 when he'd get a set of this place up. I guess he wanted it to age a little more. haha. The old Kirk was a dandy in her day, inside and out. Great research and splendid old photos.
Tanks again for sharing these!
*Thanks.................

silly typo
Another nice pic especially with the watertower in the background.
